Emily and Kasey deliver in spades at State Equestrian
Kasey Caldow (Year 10) and Emily Stone (Year 6) showcased their equestrian skills at the PETstock Equestrian Victoria Interschool State Championships 2024, held in Werribee from April 6-9.
Kasey participated in the 100cm senior jumping class with her horses Saddle up Diego (Diego) and Saddle up Going High (Tangles), spanning three rounds across the event's duration. Her performances culminated in a 2nd overall finish in the 100cm category, earning her the title of Reserve Champion!
Kasey's outstanding performance earned her a coveted spot on Team Vic for the 2024 Nationals scheduled for September in Tamworth.
Emily delivered an equally impressive performance in the 70cm primary class aboard her horse Riverview Rosie (Rosie). Overall, Emily secured 2nd place in the Primary 70cm jump category, sharing the top spot in points but coming 2nd on countback. She was also declared Reserve Champion! This means she has also progressed through to Nationals!
Congratulations to both Kasey and Emily on this outstanding sporting achievement. We can’t wait to see you represent us on the big stage and test yourselves against the best riders from around the nation!
