ANZAC Day 2025

On 25 April 2025, members of the Cobram AGS community came together to mark ANZAC Day with respect and reflection Students, staff and families took part in services across the region, with many representing our school with quiet pride. Our students made a genuine contribution to the commemorations whether marching in local parades, laying wreaths or performing in ceremonies, their participation was thoughtful and respectful.

The level of involvement across all ages spoke clearly to the importance our community places on remembering the past and recognising the values of service, resilience and unity A particularly moving moment came during the Cobram 10am service, when the Junior School Choir performed Side by Side, offering a heartfelt tribute that resonated with the crowd.

Year 12 student Lewis Brown again contributed to the formalities with a stirring performance of the Last Post, showcasing both his musical ability and understanding of the occasion’s significance.

We are proud of the way our school community continues to support ANZAC Day commemorations each year. Not just as a tradition, but as a purposeful time to reflect on the incredible sacrifices made by our servicemen and servicewomen

Lest we forget.
