Local communities unite for ANZAC Day services
It was fantastic to see a large number of students from both the Junior and Senior School attend the Cobram ANZAC Day march down Punt Road to the Cenotaph.
Year 11 student Lewis Brown had a major role to play in proceedings, performing The Last Post on his trumpet at both Cobram services. As always, Lewis did a fantastic job performing the famed battlefield anthem. Our two school captains Madison McDiarmid and Amelia Packer, Captain of Anglican Identity Nathan Gossayn and Captain of Community Service Thomas Corso also had major responsibility as MCs of the Dawn Service and 10am service in Cobram. They handled the occasion with aplomb and represented our school superbly.
The level of student engagement in surrounding towns such as Strathmerton, Berrigan, Tocumwal, Yarrawonga, Numurkah and Nathalia was a testament to our far-reaching school spirit. The ANZAC legacy well and truly lives on in today's youth.
