Our Year 10 Sports Academy students made a valuable visit to the Junior Beach Volleyball tournament hosted at Thompson's Beach. 

Facilitated by Sporties' Business Manager, Tony Tranter, and Volleyball Australia's Events Manager, Trent Clarke, the students had the pleasure of engaging with Paul Smith, Volleyball Australia's National Pathways Manager, and Catriona Tweedie, a former Olympic Volleyball referee.

During an enlightening presentation, the students gained insights into the essential elements required to compete at an elite level of competition. The discussion, led by Paul and Catriona, delved into the physiology of athletes and the necessary pathways to ascend to the pinnacle of their chosen sport.
